Model Village Project
'Swarnagram' is an initiative that is driven by social responsibility, fuelled by response from the resident Reang tribal community and powered by support and encouragement of concerned individuals, organisations and departments of the state government.
And, looking back, there are many milestones in the areas of social awareness about health and hygiene schemes and programmes, community development with dedicated hall for meetings and other occasions, upgraded amenities and facilities with proper water supply , pathways and toilets, education and empowerment with sponsorships of meritorious students, engagement of the youth in sports, yoga and other areas of self development, preservation and promotion of local Reang culture, aiding skill development and marketing of local produce and, in general, working towards betterment of life and livelihood of the resident tribal community.
